Contact Mgmt Web App - User Interface Design
While in graduate school, I took a class called User Interface Design, where with a team of four other students I helped create the web appliation known as FLETCH--Finally Link Events To Contacts...Hooray! As its name suggests, it was an application that allowed users to keep an online list of contacts, as well as an online list of events, and to create links between their contacts and events.
My primary roles in this project included creating all of the graphics used in the applications, writing most of the CSS code responsible for the site's visual appearance and working with the other team members to create the layout and flow of the site. To capitalize on users' familiarity with "old-paradigm" methods for keeping track of contacts and events (such as datebooks, planners, and "little black books"), the application's design uses tabs labeled with letters or dates--common in datebooks, planners, and "little black books." Click on each of the images below for full-size screenshots of the application.
